  • Overview

    The Senior Manager, Market Access Strategy, under the guidance of the Senior Director Market Access Strategy and Marketing, will support market access and trade strategy and analytics, commercial rebate analytics and processing, co-pay data analytics and other initiatives within Market Access and Trade for Collegium’s product portfolio.


    This individual will be responsible for general market access and trade analytics, contract and invoice compliance, data validation, rebate processing and payment support for managed care payer/PBM contracts across customer channels (Commercial, Medicare Part D, VA/DOD, etc.). This person will work closely with the Market Access and Trade team as well as other partners such as Finance, Commercial Operations, Legal and external vendors.


    • Review customer contracts to implement appropriate rebate operations among internal functions and with third-party vendors; coordinate with Finance to manage the receipt of invoices and rebate data packages provided by customers
    • Manage rebate data validation (with vendor) for compliance, accuracy and adjustments from disputed claims and ensure on-time rebate payment processing to meet contract obligations
    • Review account formulary positions and other contract eligibility requirements; coordinate process for resolving discrepancies and non-compliance with appropriate customer and internal stakeholders
    • Ensure contracts and supporting documentation are entered into monitoring databases for ongoing contract lifecycle management
    • Provide contract and rebate analysis to evaluate contract performance and support commercial and market access strategies
    • Support forecasting and GTN analysis with Finance and Commercial Ops as needed
    • Support market access analytics for Market Access and Trade team, Pricing Committee, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, investors and Board materials
    • Support development of dashboards summarizing key managed care and trade analytics that will guide the execution of account-level strategies
    • Engage in special projects related to pricing, contracting and trade/pharmacy
    • Support co-pay program analytics, reporting, monitoring and KPIs across Collegium’s portfolio of products
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) for ongoing program evaluation and alignment to commercial strategies


    • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (economics, accounting, finance, etc.)
    • At least 2+ years of life sciences industry or consulting experience related to market access  with additional work experience desired
    • Highly analytical mindset with strong MS Office and Excel skills
    • Ability to solve complex data issues with attention to detail
    • Understanding of managed care commercial contracting priorities
    • Fluency in other market access data tools: Fingertip Formulary/MMIT, IMS FIA, IMS Xponent, ValueCentric, etc.
    • Strong communicator and experience working in a collaborative decision-making environment
    • Strong team player that brings a sense of urgency and commitment to every deliverable
