  • Overview

    The primary responsibility of the Associate Director of Marketing will be leading strategic marketing initiatives to maximize the value of the brand. This includes assisting the development of a strategic plan and directly responsible for the execution or key initiatives such as Key Opinion Leader identification and development, strategic messaging, development, managing all promotional medical education initiatives including generating scientific content, planning and execution of advisory boards, etc. The individual will need to have the ability to think both strategically and ability to execute.


    •  Cultivate strong relationships with customers both internal and external, while developing deep market insights 
    • Understand key market trends and competitive environment to develop proactive strategies 
    • Foster strong partnerships with medical affairs, market access, marketing operations, sales, market research, legal, regulatory, advocacy and other functions to ensure aligned objectives, understanding and implementation of the brand strategies 


    • 7+ years sales, marketing or other relevant commercial or analytical experience
    • 4+ years pharmaceutical brand marketing
    • Demonstrated ability to influence others and build consensus
    • Demonstrated relationship development with the ability to work effectively both independently or within a team
    • Strong scientific acumen
    • Master's degree preferred
    • Experience with OPDP and FDA requirements
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time domestically. Travel will vary by month based upon projects and meetings.
