  • Overview

    The Commercial Contracts Manager will manage Collegium’s commercial contracting processes in alignment with our priorities and strategies.


    The Commercial Contracts Manager will report to Collegium’s General Counsel, and will have the opportunity to interact with wide cross-section of the organization, including Market Access and Trade; Sales and Marketing; Commercial Operations; and Commercial Finance.


    This individual will be responsible for the drafting, review, negotiation, execution and maintenance of a variety of contracts relating to Collegium’s business and external customers, including managed care payers/PBMs, government payers (Medicaid, Medicare Part D, VA/DOD), wholesalers, retail and specialty pharmacies, GPOs, hospitals and other vendors.


    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in partnership with key stakeholders and external parties (including outside counsel) as necessary
    • Advise internal teams on contract lifecycle matters, including interpretation and enforcement, risk assessment, and compliance
    • Coordinate and assist in developing policies, procedures and systems to support and facilitate efficient contract development and analysis
    • Leverage contract management software and related technologies to monitor and implement executed contracts (including membership/affiliation lists, amendments, insurance requirements, renewal, etc.) and to support relevant stakeholders over lifecycle of contract
    • Collaborate with Finance to ensure appropriate discount, rebate and/or chargeback processing and operations are met to fulfill contract obligations; support internal and external audits


    • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/payer industry in a commercial contracting role, with understanding of key contract provisions across various commercial functions and experience with Model N or similar contract management software
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
    • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to form productive partnerships
    • Strong commitment to detail, successful prioritization and time management skills; works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
    • Strong character and ethics, self-starter and interest in working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
