The Company is actively seeking a Director of Corporate Business Development, to join our rapidly-growing team in Canton, MA.

    The Director of Corporate Business Development will support the implementation of Collegium’s Corporate Strategy which will include the identification and execution of U.S. and global licensing, partnering and acquisition activities. In addition, the Director will be involved in other Corporate Development related activities. This is a very attractive opportunity for an experienced biotech/pharma industry professional that enjoys a high energy, entrepreneurial environment, and a highly-visible role that offers a chance to make significant contributions towards Collegium’s CBD goals.


    • Proactively source, evaluate and recommend business development opportunities that support Collegium’s growth strategy.
    • Perform strategic and financial analysis on U.S. and global transaction opportunities.
    • Conduct, coordinate and manage the appropriate due diligence process for transaction opportunities.
    • Deliver project and execution plans to the Vice President of Commercial Operations/Corporate Development.
    • Develop collaborative and productive relationships with key functions, such as Finance, R&D, Medical, Commercial and Manufacturing, amongst others during transaction due diligence processes
    • Assemble and effectively utilize internal and external resources (as necessary) to ensure adequate support for each transaction.
    • Prepare presentations and internal memos for internal processes related to all BD activities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with potential strategic partners.
    • Participate at relevant industry conferences.


    • BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business or science field
    • 7+ years of pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry experience in business development or 7+ years of investment banking or consulting experience working with life sciences companies
    • Must possess a high level of quantitative skills and be very detail-oriented
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically. International travel may be required
