  • Overview

    The Managed Care Contracts AD/Director will manage Collegium’s managed care contracting processes in alignment with our priorities and strategies.

     

    The Managed Care Contracts AD/Director will report to the Senior Director Market Access Strategy and Marketing and will have the opportunity to interact with a cross-section of the organization, including Market Access and Trade team, General Counsel, and Commercial Finance.

     

    This individual will be responsible for the drafting, review, negotiation, execution and maintenance of a variety of contracts relating to Collegium’s business and external customers, including managed care payers/PBMs, government payers (Medicaid, Medicare Part D, VA/DOD), retail and specialty pharmacies, GPOs, and hospitals.

    Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, and negotiate managed care letters of intent (LOI), bids, RFPs, amendments and contracts in partnership with key stakeholders (customers, Market Access, General Counsel) as necessary
    • Advise internal teams on contract lifecycle matters, including interpretation and enforcement, risk assessment, and compliance
    • Coordinate and assist in developing policies, procedures and systems to support and facilitate efficient contract development and analysis
    • Leverage contract management software and related technologies (e.g. Model N) to monitor and implement executed contracts (including membership/affiliation lists, amendments, insurance requirements, renewal, etc.) and to support relevant stakeholders over lifecycle of contract
    • Manage Quantuvis system for bids and RFPs across payer/PBM customers
    • Managed Medicare Part D bid process for payers/PBMs

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/payer industry in a commercial contracting role, with understanding of key contract provisions across various commercial functions and experience with Model N or similar contract management software
    • Experience with Medicare Part D bid process
    • Experience with Quantuvis system for payer/PBM bids and RFPs
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
    • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to form productive partnerships
    • Strong commitment to detail, successful prioritization and time management skills; works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
    • Strong character and ethics, self-starter and interest in working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
