The Human Resources Business Partner will work closely with the G&A, Tech Ops and Medical leadership and their team s and is responsible for designing, initiating, and managing human resources initiatives across multiple functions. You will be responsible for helping to make Collegium a great place to work by advising and supporting leaders as they make strategic people decisions and aligning our organizational strategy with our people strategy.  You will own the relationship with EC members and their teams to provide coaching, guidance and partnership on all people related issues including talent processes, performance management, employee relations, development, organizational design, and other people related programs and processes. You will partner with the HR team to continuously improve the employee experience relating to HR programs and processes including employee engagement, talent management and development across the team’s they support to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with G&A, Tech Ops and Medical leadership and their teams to develop and drive organizational best practices through multiple human resources workstreams such as performance management, organization development and design, talent management programs and workforce planning.
  • Coach and support management by providing human resources advice and counsel.
  • Partner with Leadership to provide guidance and partnership on people related issues such as employee relations, performance management, talent processes, professional development, and organizational design to support an exceptional employee and candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition and leaders to identify and execute talent strategies to attract, identify, hire, develop, promote, and retain top talent
  • Support the design, development and execution of critical HR initiatives and projects (performance management, organizational design, talent reviews, workforce planning, talent initiatives.)
  • Guide leaders on managing and supporting change and growth
  • Partner with colleagues across HR to design, develop, and execute talent initiatives across all elements of the employee experience
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee relations and talent development and serve as a mentor for the HR team
  • Collaborate closely with our internal HR teams as well as other key stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, and Finance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required; Master’s degree and SPHR preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience in Human Resources including Employee Relations, Talent Development, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Program Development and Delivery is required with at least 3 years of related HR business partnering experience in a commercial Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences organization
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design and execute clear processes, and a detail-oriented, yet flexible and creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with diverse groups and experience levels
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and customer-service attitude
  • Discretion and judgement managing confidential and sensitive information
  • Substantial experience in business partnering and employment relations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills
  • Substantial experience in navigating complex and sensitive employee relations scenarios and investigation management, follow through and resolution required
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and understanding of HR and industry related compliance requirements required
  • Ability to influence others through your functional expertise, relationships, and knowledge of the organization
  • Exceptional project and vendor management skills, including ability to negotiate, manage and influence without direct reporting relationship
